ISO Standards Identification

On November 8th, 2022, Surechain successfully held a training conference on the topic of ISO standards identification. What are ISO standards? Here, they mainly refer to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. ISO standards are one of the best-known standards in the world, helping enterprises improve the quality of their products and services and consistently meet their customers' requirements and expectations.

ISO 9001 is the standard based on some quality management principles. It builds on seven quality management principles: customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement,evidence-based decision-making, and relationship management. It is essential for us to define our snow chains and identify key processes to meet our objectives, while also ensuring that senior management is on board to provide support and leadership from the top down. Using ISO 9001 ensures that our customers get consistent, good-quality products and services.

ISO 14001 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that we can use to enhance our environmental performance. ISO 14001 is intended for use by us seeking to manage our environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability, which provides value for the environment, ourselves, and our interested parties.

ISO 45001 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives detailed guidance for its use, to enable us to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving our OH&S performance. It also enables us to integrate other aspects of health and safety, such as worker wellness/well-being.
